medications are designed and compounded to fit your animal's
specific needs. Doug's Pharmacy makes medications that are not
economically feasible for large manufacturers and therefore, are
not commercially available. Doug's Pharmacy uses
state-of-the-art equipment, molds, containers, and dosage forms
to properly compound your animal's medication. |

Unavailable medications?
Not
a problem for Doug's Pharmacy!
If
there is a low demand for specific animal
medications, the manufacturer may stop
producing them. However, there may still be an
occasional need for these medications. We can
obtain the necessary pharmaceutical grade chemical(s) and from them, we compound the
product that is needed for use in a specific
animal.
Flavoring medication?
Not a problem for Doug's Pharmacy! Administering medication to an animal is
not always easy.
One option is a prepared
medication in an easy-to-give, flavored dosage
form that animals love!
Some flavoring suggestions include:
Apple, Liver, Banana,
Peanut butter, Beef, Sardine,
Butter, Strawberry, Cherry,
Tuna and many more . . . |

One
size fits all?
Not
a problem for Doug's Pharmacy!
Commercial animal medications may be
available only in one strength or size. They may be
too large to give to a dog, or an
excessive number of pills may need to be given to a
large animal. We can compound dosage forms
that are just right for any size animal. We
make medication administration easier and more
economical!
Do you
have ideas?
Not
a problem for Doug's Pharmacy!
You
may have read about new products or
chemicals in veterinary journals and animal
magazines. Your ideas for compounded animal
medications or dosage forms are only limited to
your imagination! We work with you and your
veterinarian to customize your ideas including:
